We have many servants at our church who voluntarily do the work of ministry, but a few of them have the privilege of getting paid to fulfill a specific role. Our staff is made up of unique and amazing people who work to fulfill the mission God has given us of making disciples of Jesus in the Tanner community and beyond. Whether that involves administration, music, keeping things clean, preaching, hanging out with kids or youth, maintenance, Bible study, event planning, or designing, it's all done to honor God and to share the love of Jesus. Check out our staff below.

Stephen Fincher–Pastor

Stephen was born in the booming metropolis of Woodland, AL, where people love Friday night football, cows, chickens, and inventing their own fun. Stephen loves music, reading, running, playing guitar, hiking, hanging out with friends, and occasionally watching a movie. As a teenager, he became a Christian at a youth group and has been following Jesus ever since. After an experience with the Holy Spirit in college, Stephen pursued vocational ministry. He graduated from Auburn with a degree in Social Work and went to Asbury Theological Seminary in Kentucky. While in Kentucky, he met his better half, Laura, who is wondrously intelligent, faithful, energetic, hard working, and fun. They have a daughter, Caroline Joy Fincher, who was born in February of 2019, and they have three cats: Moe (a tuxedo), Atticus (a Ragdoll), and Cairo (an orange tabby). Connect with Stephen at
